MINI BUS

Originally used in tropical developing countries, tuk tuk is an urban form of transport. These motor vehicles, known by several names, among which the most famous is perhaps a rickshaw, owe this popular name to the sound they make when moving. Today, with its rapid expansion in the tourism sector, these vehicles for several people are the next big thing, with many advantages for quickly and comfortably exploring Lisbon’s steep and narrow streets.

Although there are several models, the original rickshaw was a cart with wheels pulled by a man. In the 19th century it was used as a means of transport, but its popularity was decreasing with the invention of cars and other public transport with motor. However, during the 20th century, this humble and ancient form of transport was reborn with the invention of versions with motor and pedals. During World War II, rickshaws appeared as taxi services to combat the scarce.
